Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has dismissed reports linking defender Sergio Ramos with a mega-money move to
Chelsea in the summer.
The 22-year-old Spain international had been rumoured to be a £55million target for the Stamford Bridge club, but Calderon says no deal is in the offing.
He told the Onda Madrid radio station: "There is no reason to worry. His future is with Real Madrid.
"Sergio Ramos is one of the pillars of our project here and he has his entire career at the club ahead of him.
"He would only leave if he wanted to, but I have seen nothing to suggest that he does. He is very happy with us.
"When you are playing for Real Madrid, why would you want to go to another club?"
Ramos joined Real in the summer of 2005 from Sevilla and has helped his current club to back-to-back title successes and he is certain to be a key figure for the Spain national team at this summer's European Championships.
