Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz is on collision course with Real Madrid after calling injured winger Cristiano Ronaldo into his squad for their forthcoming World Cup play-off.
The £80million star has not played for Real since aggravating an ankle problem while on international duty last month.
But despite the Spanish club claiming that Ronaldo is not fit and facing at least three weeks on the sidelines, Queiroz has added him to his squad for the two-legged World Cup qualifying play-off against Bosnia on November 14 and 18.
"I hope he can help us, if only for a few minutes," Quieroz told Marca.
"Let's see how it goes, but we believe that he can still make his recovery with us and thus have time to play."
