Perez eyes two more signings

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has set his sights on two more signings before calling a halt to his summer of rebuilding at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real have spent £200million on an array of star players since Perez returned to office earlier in the summer, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Karim Benzema and Raul Albiol all arriving in Madrid.

Bayern Munich's France star Franck Ribery and Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso are believed to be on Perez's wishlist and the president is determined to carry on spending.

He declared: "I think that with two more signings we will have renewed the squad.

"That is the reality right now."
