Perez: No bids for star trio

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has said the club will not make summer moves for Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney and Franck Ribery. However, the Los Galacticos' supremo has hinted that new coach Jose Mourinho may return to raid former club Internazionale for Brazil full-back Maicon. Speaking to reporters, he said: "Messi is the second best player in the world, after Cristiano (Ronaldo), and it wouldn't be good to have them in the same team. "This way, there is more competition. In Rooney's position we already have very good players," he explained. "Ribery is impossible because he just renewed his contract with Bayern. "There is no rush, but Maicon is one of the great players in the world in his position."
