Pellegrini: No Kaka problems
15 Mar 2010 - 07:01:03
Real Madrid head coach Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed rumours of dressing room unrest surrounding Kaka at the Bernabeu.
The 27-year-old Brazilian has struggled to adapt to life in Spain following his summer arrival from AC Milan and was left out of the squad for the weekend clash with Valladolid.
However, Pellegrini insists that there is no personal agenda, stating that Kaka is currently struggling with a thigh injury.
He told Marca: "He's doing well in terms of goals and assists. He is adapting to a new league and he has my complete respect.
"He is an example as a person and as a professional, although we know that he can still give more. My relation with Kaka is good and will continue to be."
The Brazilian superstar had earlier talked down rumours of a rift with Pellegrini, telling AS: "He has always been very good, I never had a problem with any of my coaches.
"With Pellegrini I appreciate the way he has treated me and helped me. He is a person who has given me much support."
