Real Madrid full-back Marcelo has penned a new deal that will keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until at least 2015.
The Brazilian has been a prominent figure in the team since joining from Fluminense in January 2007 and has proved a natural replacement for Roberto Carlos.
Marcelo, 21, has already made almost 100 appearances for the Primera Division outfit.
He has won two Spanish league titles and the Spanish Super Cup with Madrid.
A statement on the club's website read: "Real Madrid and Marcelo Vieira have signed the contract renewal with which the player will remain tied to the club until June 2015."
