Real Madrid transfer target Maicon has been tipped to stay at current club Internazionale this summer by his agent. The Brazil full-back emerged as Jose Mourinho's main transfer target after he swapped Inter for Madrid at the end of the last campaign. The two clubs are believed to have been locked in negotiations throughout the summer, but Real are refusing to meet Inter's 35million euro valuation of the right-back. "For me, probably Maicon will stay at Inter," stated agent Antonio Caliendo. "We have had no contact with the club for a month but we have a contract with Inter. "We don't know anything about the negotiations with Real Madrid. They are negotiating without his consent. "I don't know if this is the way to proceed with a champion like him."
