Maicon agent expects deal soon

Real Madrid transfer target Maicon is just waiting on the Spanish club to table a formal offer to Internazionale for his services, according to his agent.

The Brazil full-back is currently away on World Cup duty but agent Antonio Caliendo believes a move to be reunited with former Inter and now Real boss Jose Mourinho is close to being agreed.

He explained: "The only thing left is that (Madrid president) Florentino Perez and (Inter counterpart) Massimo Moratti meet to reach an agreement.

"I am waiting for this to happen."

Maicon has been tipped to make a 25million euro move to the Santiago Bernabeu following Mourinho's switch to Spain after the Champions League final last month.
