Kaka off the mark for Madrid

Kaka has spoken of his joy at opening his account for new club Real Madrid during Wednesday's 2-0 win over Villarreal.

The £59million Brazil playmaker converted a second-half penalty at El Madrigal after Cristiano Ronaldo had opened the scoring.

"I am happy to score my first goal. It is a great joy," Kaka told AS.

However, the former AC Milan star has revealed that Real are far from being the finished product following the summer investment programme which brought a host of new players to the club.

"I'm happy with the win but we can improve," he added.

"Playing how we want will take time but the main thing is we won."
