Real Madrid star Kaka has thrown his support towards Jose Mourinho, who is being widely tipped to become the club's new manager in the summer.
Mourinho has been constantly linked to the job but, with Manuel Pellegrini still in charge at Santiago Bernabeu, the Brazilian has praised the Chilean's achievements this term while bemoaning his own injury problems since he moved from AC Milan last summer.
Speaking to reporters, Kaka said: "Mourinho is a great coach. He has won things everywhere he has been but whether he comes is down to the club.
"He has done a great job but it is the club who will decide whether he stays or goes.
"For me it has been a very difficult season, with many physical problems. I have not been able to compete the way I wanted to."
