Jose Mourinho has admitted that he would love to work with fellow countryman Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
Mourinho, who guided Internazionale to Champions League final glory on Saturday evening, is widely tipped to join up with the La Liga giants this summer and his desire to work with the Portugal star has further intensified the rumours.
The former Porto and Chelsea coach has also asked for him to be left alone to go about his business on the football field.
Speaking to Marca, he said: "Ronaldo is a very easy footballer to work with.
"Any coach would be happy to have him in his team. He is a phenomenon and should be left alone. I do not understand the attacks on his personal life just because he is a star.
"For me he is a player with ability that is out of this world, but he must win more titles if he is to be considered one of the best like (Alfredo) Di Stefano, (Diego) Maradona or Pele."
