Higuain predicts fighting finish

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has suggested the Spanish giants will fight fierce rivals Barcelona all the way to the end as they go head-to-head in the La Liga run-in.

Both sides have five games remaining with Barca leading Los Merengues by a solitary point and Higuain is full of optimism that his team can turn the tale in their favour.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "We can win the league title. This team has a lot of faith in itself. The match in Zaragoza will be very difficult. They fight to avoid relegation and we fight to win the title.

"I think we are having a great campaign; we've won many consecutive games.

"We always create many chances on goal and we have a solid defence. We have taken an incredible number of points already.

"The coach was right in saying whomever wins the league title in the end will truly deserve it."
