Butragueno turns up the heat

Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno believes that his club's clash with Lyon on Wednesday night is their most important of the season to date.

Real go into the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie trailing 1-0, with the carrot of the final of this year's competition being at the Bernabeu adding to the pressure on the Spanish giants.

Butragueno said: "For Madrid, the Champions League final is tomorrow (Wednesday) against Lyon.

"Ninety minutes are very long. We have to be calm because we have a full 90 minutes, but we have the obligation of coming back.

"The first leg result is very dangerous, but we have the players to do it. If the match against Lyon goes well, it will be remembered forever."
