Real Madrid forward Julio Baptista's move to Roma remains in doubt, with the two clubs unable to reach a final agreement.
The 27-year-old is keen to leave the Bernabeu in search of regular first-team football, but interest from Turkish side Fenerbahce has now held up a possible switch to the Italian capital.
Baptista's agent, Herminio Mendez, told La Roma Siamo Noi: "To be honest the deal is on hold.
"The clubs have both reached an agreement, but there are also other teams interested apart from Roma. Fenerbahce are one of those sides.
"We'll see what happens. We will try and meet with the club in the next few days."
