Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has refused to get involved in the media rumours that suggest Jose Mourinho will shortly become the team's new coach. The Portuguese tactician is widely believed to be on his way out of Internazionale after guiding them to the treble and is expected to replace current Real boss Manuel Pellegrini. The former Liverpool man has also admitted it is important for the side to produce the goods on the field next season after a trophy-less 2009-10 campaign. He said: "(There has been) no appointment yet, our coach at the minute is Manuel Pellegrini. Nothing has been said, officially, so I am not the person to comment on these things. "First of all we want to win trophies and the best way to win trophies and win games is to play good football. We have to work on that and try to improve on last season."
