Brazilian duo Marcelo and Kaka returned to training on Tuesday after recovering from injury, their club Real Madrid announced.

Both defender Marcelo and playmaker Kaka have been out for just over a fortnight with the former suffering a left thigh injury and the latter a right leg problem.

"Marcelo and Kaka have rejoined the squad," said the club.

Portuguese central defender Ricardo Carvalho is also on the mend as he was able to train alone on Tuesday, after recovering from a sore back.
