Brazilian wonderkid Neymar is set to finally complete a big European transfer after agreeing a summer transfer to Real Madrid in principle.

Neymar, 19, had made it clear that he wished to remain at Santos until the end of this season, but the Brazil international has now decided on where to play next.

Having been heavily linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester City. City boss Roberto Mancini was willing to do everything in his power to secure his signature. Neymar has seemingly decided to move to the Spanish giants instead of making a move to England.

Brazilian legend Pele recently said that Neymar has the potential to rival Barcelona star Lionel Messi as the world’s greatest player.

Although the transfer has yet to be finalised a number of reports claim that the deal has been all but signed and Neymar will move to Madrid next July for a fee thought to be between £48million and £53million. He is set to sign a contract worth £1million a month with image rights that could see the deal total at around £150million.
