Bolton try for Real winger

Bolton are trying to acquire the services of Real Madrid's Pedro Leon on a season-long loan at The Reebok, according to reports. The 24-year-old Leon has been shunned recently by the Spanish giants, which has led him to training apart from the first-team group. It is rumoured that the Spaniard is not wanted anymore by the La Liga side. Yet Leon still has five years left to run on his contract.

The winger has already rejected advances from Valencia and Getafe this summer in a bid to try and get back into the Real Madrid team - but sources within the club Bernabeu, say that the club are desperate to get rid of the player.

The Trotters have been chasing the midfield man all summer.

A season-long loan move to The Reebok could suit both Real and Bolton equally if the player was convinced it could help his career in Spain.
