Zurab enjoying Royals life

Reading's new signing Zurab Khizanishvili has admitted he is impressed with life at the Berkshire-based club.

The Georgia international has made the move to the Madejski Stadium after he signed a loan deal until the end of the season and he wants to repay the faith manager Brian McDermott has shown in him.

Speaking to the club's official website, Khizanishvili said: "I'm definitely going to enjoy playing in this team, I played against Reading a couple of years ago and they did well.

"I know the history of the team is great, there's a new manager here and Brian is a nice guy.

"I met him for the first time and I think there is a lot of respect between the players and manager, that's important.

"I'm going to do my best, I don't want to let him down and I want to help Reading."
