Winger set for new campaign
Jobi McAnuff is relishing the new season at Reading after reporting a sparkling return to training from his team-mates.
The Royals are currently on a tour of Slovenia and Croatia and will kick-off their npower Championship preparations against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday.
McAnuff told BBC Berkshire: "Everyone's come back flying and the fitness levels are unbelievable - the best I've seen at a club in a pre-season.
"There's a buzz about the place off the back of last season - we finished well to bring momentum into this season."
"We've had a good break and I've managed to get my feet up for a little while.
"But after a month you're really looking to get back into it, get the pre-season out of the way and now I'm just really looking forward to the start of the season."
