Ward holds out for Mooney extension
Colchester boss John Ward is hopeful of extending the loan of Reading striker David Mooney.
Mooney, who has scored seven goals for United this season, is due back at the Madejski this week, but Ward wants to keep the Irishman.
Ward said: "David may yet stay here.
"We're still talking to Reading and it's not done and dusted that he will go back there yet.
"It is still under discussion."
