Tisdale plays down Royals link
Steve Coppell left the Royals following their disappointing play-off semi-final defeat to Burnley but Tisdale has quashed the recent rumours as "pure speculation".
He told the Express & Echo: "All I will say is that no-one has spoken to me, Reading have not made an approach to Exeter and we have not spoken to Reading.
"It's just pure speculation. I can't really say too much more because there is nothing behind it.
"There has been no contract so therefore there is no interest. I am very much planning for next year with Exeter and I love my job."
Meanwhile, Exeter's director of football Steve Perryman added:
"I would be very surprised if clubs were not looking and taking notice about how well Paul has done. We have not heard anything from anyone and we will be delighted if we don't."
