Championship Reading overcame a spirited Stevenage to avoid an FA Cup upset and reach the last 16.League Two Stevenage beat Premier League Newcastle in the last round but were in trouble this time when Mikele Leigertwood slotted home for Reading. However, the hosts levelled when Darius Charles cut inside and curled home.
