Reading full-back Nicky Shorey says he has no intention of leaving the club, despite recently rejecting the offer of a new contract at the Madejski Stadum.
West ham United, Manchester City and Newcastle United have all been linked with the 26-year-old this summer.
However, Shorey insists: "I don't want to leave and am fully committed to Reading.
"It would be wrong to start talking about moving or going to a big club. I'm just keeping my options open."
Shorey has made more than 250 first-team appearances for the Royals and won his first England cap in June's friendly international against Brazil.
Steve Coppell has already lost Steve Sidwell and Greg Halford from last term's successful squad.
