Royals receive Cox sell-on fee

Cox joined Swindon in January 2008 and last week completed a £1.9million move to Albion after a prolific season in Wiltshire. Director of football Nick Hammond told Reading's official website: "The sell-on fee we placed in Simon's original transfer was significant, and therefore this is a good deal for all parties. "We sold Simon as he was some way down the pecking order but we saw the potential in him. "This is a win-win situation all round now for West Brom, Swindon, ourselves and Simon."
