Royals keeper feels the heat

Reading number one Adam Federici has admitted that the players are struggling to perform at home where the expectation of fans is putting pressure on the relegation-threatened team. Players, fans and pundits all anticipated a strong season from the Royals but they've struggled, falling to 19th after Tuesday's 4-2 defeat at home to Crystal Palace. Only seven points have been won at the Madejski Stadium from ten games. "We seemed to lack a bit of confidence which was a strange feeling out there. Everyone wants to perform at home and to impress the supporters - the pressure is there," Federici conceded to BBC Berkshire. "A few people have to stick their hands up a bit more and do more on the pitch like we do on away games," the 24-year-old Aussie keeper added.
