Royals flush after red card
Reading boss Brian McDermott was disappointed to see Zurab Khizanishvili sent off - but admitted it galvanised his side as they beat Barnsley 3-0.Khizanishvili saw red for a second booking midway through the second half but Jimmy Kebe, Ian Harte and Hal Robson-Kanu secured the three points."When you are looking for the first goal you have got to keep going. It might take 60 or 70 minutes," said McDermott."I think the sending-off of Zurab Khizanishvili galvanised the crowd and they really got behind us. I have seen it again and it wasn't even a foul, let alone a second yellow and a sending-off."The referee and linesman got a few things wrong and I think that helped to get us going. We can't appeal against the dismissal though so he will miss the Ipswich game on Tuesday."
