Royals sweating over Kebe

Reading will wait on the fitness of winger Jimmy Kebe as they look to stretch their unbeaten league run against Sheffield United.

Kebe missed the goalless draw with Leeds on Good Friday with a thigh injury and he will be assessed after his pace on the break was sorely missed at Elland Road.

Hal Robson-Kanu will start again if Kebe misses out as the Royals look to make it 14 games unbeaten.

Captain Matt Mills has returned to the heart of the defence after a month out with a groin injury and forward Noel Hunt is back after a foot injury.

Goalkeeper Adam Federici is back after nine games out with a knee injury but has been restricted to a place on the bench due to the form of England Under-21 international Alex McCarthy.

A win could take Brian McDermott`s side to within a point of second place.
