Royals star looking to make amends
Long had scored four goals in three games prior to the 2-2 FA Cup draw with Albion but will now miss four games after his late lunge caught Abdoulaye Meite.[LNB]Long said: "Personally I'm disappointed to be sent off and we were unlucky at the end to not win the game, but we put in a good display and one we can be proud of.[LNB]"I think I more or less caught him with my back foot and I missed it by inches, I'll put it right when I come back.[LNB]"It was getting a bit rowdy and I think the ref wanted to put his mark on the game and he sent me off. I don't see how you can challenge sometimes without showing your studs though.[LNB]"It was frustrating up top and the ref didn't help us out. But I shouldn't have put in the challenge, I barely missed the ball and it's cost me. I have two weeks now to put my head down, work hard and be ready for when I come back."[LNB][LNB]
