Royals midfielder pens new deal
The winger has impressed during loan spells with Southend last season and Swindon this term.
The England Under-19 international has scored three goals in 11 games after joining the Robins in January and is hoping to make an impact at the Madejski Stadium after signing a contract until 2011.
"As a young player coming through the Academy this is a real reward for me and I'm delighted," he told the club's official website.
"I've had a couple of loans and all I can keep doing is working hard. This is a stepping stone and gives me stability to push on and hopefully get into the Reading team.
"I've been happy with my performances at Swindon. The team's results aren't great, but personally I feel I'm doing well."
