Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici says they are still struggling to perform in home games, after their 4-2 defeat by Crystal Palace on Tuesday. The Royals, who are 19th in the Championship, have only won once at the Madejski Stadium this season. [LNB]Federici told BBC Berkshire: "We seemed to lack a bit of confidence which was a strange feeling out there. [LNB]"Everyone wants to perform at home and to impress the supporters - the pressure is there." [LNB]The keeper added: "A few people have to stick their hands up a bit more and do more on the pitch like we do on away games." [LNB]Federici was beaten three times in the first half by shots from outside the box but put it down to good finishing from Palace.[LNB] There's no reason we can't be at least in the middle of the table and perhaps chasing the promotion spots Adam Federici "The first one was right in the corner and I didn't get anywhere near it - perhaps it was the greasy surface. [LNB]"The second one completely wrong-footed me - the ball started off in the other corner - I don't know if I could have done any more than I did. [LNB]"The other two were both in the top corner, good finishes. But we need to stop making it easy for them to shoot round our box. [LNB]"When we go up the other end, I don't think we get a shot off without four or five players diving in front of the ball.[LNB] [LNB][LNB] Despite their lowly position in the Championship table, Federici says the team are still aiming high. [LNB]"We've all got to chase something for the end of the season and we have our goals each month. There's no reason we can't be at least in the middle of the table and perhaps chasing the promotion spots. [LNB]"If we get our consistency right and play the way we have been over the last couple of weeks, there's no reason why not. But at the moment we're very good, then we're very poor."
