Royals go down in Slovenia
Reading suffered a 1-0 defeat to 10-man NK Celje in the final friendly of their pre-season training camp in Slovenia.
The Royals, without strikers Grzegorz Rasiak and Noel Hunt through injury, enjoyed the better of the chances in the first half with Jobi McAnuff and Alex Pearce going close.
But Gorazd Zajc gave the home side the lead with a neat finish past Ben Hamer before Dragutin Golob was sent off for two fouls on Hal Robson-Kanu.
