The 34-year-old had hoped that he could break back into Steve Coppell's side with Liam Rosenior sidelined for a month with a broken hand but a niggling calf injury has stopped him in his tracks.[LNB]"My injury has come at a bad time because Liam has broken his hand and I could have been playing. It has been frustrating," said Murty.[LNB]Murty was awarded the PFA Player in the Community Award at Sunday's Football League awards and believes that footballers do not get the credit they deserve for their work off the pitch.[LNB]"The problem is that the work players do off the pitch isn't reported. It doesn't get airtime and it doesn't sell papers like the bad publicity does," added Murty.[LNB]"That attitude makes fans think that we're far removed from them but that really is not the case."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
