Royals boss: There's more to come

With the window shutting on Tuesday, Rodgers is aiming to bring in more players on the back of signing Grzegorz Rasiak and Jobi McAnuff on Thursday. "We've got Jobi and Gregorz and then we'll work towards maybe getting two or three more in before Tuesday's deadline," he told his club's official website. The Royals had been in the running to sign Tommy Smith but he opted to join Premiership outfit Portsmouth and Rodgers is adamant that his two latest additions were not brought in as a reaction to losing out on Smith. "These guys were on top of Tommy so it's not a reaction to that. I felt that we are needing in certain positions offensively," he added.
