Royals boss hopeful of new faces
Rodgers has so far only signed Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand on loan but is confident of tying up two new additions in the coming days.
He said: "Hopefully we may have a signing in or two by Saturday because it would be important.
"The club know who we want, (director of football) Nick Hammond has been working hard on deals while we were away in Sweden.
"If not for Saturday then certainly for early next week."
