Rovers keen on Andersen extension

The 21-year-old Reading goalkeeper has been outstanding for the Pirates since arriving at the Memorial Stadium at the start of September.[LNB]The Denmark Under-21 international is due to return to the Madejski Stadium, but Rovers chairman Nick Higgs revealed the club are on the verge of securing his services until May.[LNB]"We are close to completing a deal that will keep Mikkel Andersen at the Memorial Stadium until the end of the season," Higgs told the club's official website.[LNB]"An emergency loan is being done this week to cover the Wycombe game (on Saturday), and the plan is for him to sign a standard loan deal on Monday which will see him stay with us until the end of the current campaign."[LNB][LNB]
