Rodgers raves over Royals recruits
Rodgers allowed Liam Rosenior and James Harper to leave the club last week but brought in Darren O'Dea, Brian Howard and Shaun Cummings and is happy with the characters he has added to the squad.
He said: "We now have a few leaders. Darren was a captain at Celtic and Brian captained Barnsley. The mentality they have brought to the squad is very strong.
"When I was at Chelsea they had a team full of captains and I feel we are getting to that position here now as well.
"That mentality brings character to the team. Brian, Darren and Shaun are all ambitious and that is what we want for the whole squad. They are natural winners."
