Rodgers: My players will learn
Rodgers signed a three-year contract earlier this month and is keen to begin working with the players who missed out on promotion back to the Premier League last season.
"There will always be learning," he told the club's official website. "If you are prepared to learn you will do well and my method of working encourages learning, which is very important.
"There's no problem trying to improve - when you have the right mentality.
"If you want to improve then you will. I saw it with young players at Watford, and so too at Chelsea when Frank Lampard improved after Deco came in.
"Improvement is purely about motivation. I know the players here have the ambition to do well."
