Rodgers hopes for change in fortune
The Royals were defeated 2-1 in injury time when Daniel Bogdanovic scored a penalty and Rodgers has called for a reverse of the result when they travel to Oakwell on Saturday.
Rodgers said: "I feel for the players and the staff at the moment. Everyone is working so hard every day and they're just not getting that wee bit of luck.
"They want to do so well and their spirit is terrific.
"I want to win every game no matter what the competition is and it's important now that we reverse the result on Saturday and get our first win in the league."
