Reading forward Hal Robson-Kanu is happy with how his season is unfolding after he won a vital late penalty against Plymouth. The 20-year-old has not seen much first-team football for the Royals this campaign but showed his worth on Tuesday night when his pace won Brian McDermott's side a spot-kick which was converted by Shane Long. Robson-Kanu said: "When I'm given the chance by the manager I have to take it. "It's my job to train every day and work hard every day and hopefully I'll get my reward and opportunities like the other night. "Everyone has to contribute. This is my first full season at Reading, I've not played much but I've got nearly 50 games under my belt in the Football League."
