Rasiak makes Cyprus switch

Reading have allowed striker Grzegorz Rasiak to leave the club and join Cyprus side AEL Limassol on a free transfer. Rasiak scored the winner in last week`s Carling Cup win at Torquay but has been jettisoned after Noel Hunt`s return from a long-term knee injury. Director of football Nick Hammond said: "With the emergence of our young strikers and the return of Noel Hunt, Grzegorz`s chances of playing were going to be limited this season. "He is at an age where he wants to play regular football, he is fairly expensive for us and therefore this is a deal that I am happy with. "It allows him to play and it is good for the club."
