Adam Federici was born on 31 January 1985 in Nowra, Australia. Before joining Wovlerhampton for their 2002/03 promotion season he had a short trial with Bolton. Once the promotion season had finished he moved to Italian Club Sardenga Serie C1, but shortly after he joined he decided he wanted to return to England. He done so in the summer of 2004 and spent a couple of months at Leeds.
