No fresh worries for Royals

Reading boss Brian McDermott has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to Burnley. McDermott saw his side lose their second successive game without scoring at Bristol City in midweek and may make changes as he looks to return to winning ways. Midfielder Brian Howard is pushing for a recall after coming on as a substitute at Ashton Gate. Left-back Chris Armstrong has been playing in the centre of midfield since returning from a knee operation but could stand down. Icelandic midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson will again miss out through a hamstring injury but former Coventry midfielder Jay Tabb is available for selection after recovering from the foot injury which has restricted him to just 151 minutes of first team football for the Royals this season. Strikers Shane Long, Noel Hunt and Simon Church have contributed just two league goals between them so far and McDermott will be looking for more against the Clarets - who could have former Royal Andre Bikey in their side.
