New Reading deal for Gunnarsson

Reading midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson has signed a new one-year contract to keep him at the Madejski Stadium. The 33-year-old, capped 65 times by Iceland, was out of contract this summer but will now add to his 111 appearances for Reading. Gunnarsson said there was never any real thoughts of leaving the Royals. "It is a time when there are a lot of changes and some players were not offered contracts so I was very pleased the Club wanted me," he said. Director of football Nick Hamm.... read more
