More injury woe for Duberry

Reading have been rocked by the news that veteran former Chelsea and Leeds United defender Michael Duberry will spend the next month on the sidelines.

The 32-year-old, who had only recently recovered from a hamstring problem, picked up a calf injury in the opening stages of the Carling Cup victory against Luton Town.

Deflated Royals boss Steve Coppell told the club's official website: "Doobs popped his calf, and that usually means something reasonably significant so I can't imagine him being available for another three or four weeks from now.

"It's massively frustrating for him, because he's a really good pro and looks after himself."
