Mills wants McAnuff to stay

Reading defender Matthew Mills wants sought-after winger Jobi McAnuff to stay at the club.

The 28-year-old wide-man is thought to be interesting several Premier League clubs as well as Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers, but Mills doesn't want to see a player of his calibre leave the Madejski Stadium-based side.

He said: "Jobi is massive for us. A lot of our play goes through him and he's a top player.

"Top players gain interest from other clubs and I'm sure he's had it all through his career. He knows how to deal with it, but obviously if there's a situation then the club have to do all they can to keep him happy."
