Mills to remain respectful

Reading central defender Matt Mills has insisted he would show respect in the event of him scoring against his former club on Saturday.

Mills joined the Berkshire club from Doncaster Rovers last summer and his former employers make the trip to Madejski Stadium on Saturday.

But Mills has insisted he will show restraint if he manages to notch in the Championship contest.

He said: "One of the lads asked me what I would do if I scored against Doncaster and I wouldn't celebrate just out of respect for the club.

"That doesn't mean I don't want to score more than ever.

"I've got a couple this season but they don't mean as much as a goal against my old club would."
