Mikele gets Royals stamp of approval
Reading manager Brian McDermott has backed loan signing Mikele Leigertwood to improve on his already impressive start to life at the Madejski.
The QPR midfielder starred in the 0-0 draw with Leeds and McDermott is confident he will become a key part of the side.
He said: "It's difficult coming straight in like he did but he is really popular around the place and does his job quietly and efficiently.
"It is no accident that we had a first clean sheet in six games when he played.
"He lasted 75 minutes and got better as it went on. He'll improve with games and training."
