McDermott: No more arrivals
Reading boss Brian McDermott has warned fans not to expect any last-minute transfer business at the Madejski Stadium.
The club have not received any parachute payments this season as they begin a third campaign in the Championship and McDermott will not be adding to his squad this month.
McDermott said: "We run the club as sensibly as we possibly can.
"If the money was there the board would sanction something but it`s not there and we can`t do anything about that.
"We are not in a situation to bring anybody in at this moment in time.
"I`m happy with my squad and I have absolute faith in the players we have."
