McAnuff itching to face Hornets
The wideman played 60 minutes for the second string on Tuesday afternoon after recovering from a back injury which has sidelined him since August.
He said: "I've been dying to get out there and obviously it's good to get a bit of game time under my belt.
"It has been a frustrating start for me at Reading with the injury but now I might even be involved at the weekend.
"I'm knocking the gaffer's door down and it will be up to him now."
